Into the Land of Adults
So last week we did a really scary thing, we officially became "adults". Yes i realize i am married and have kids, thus making me some what of an adult....... but this was HUGE!!!
We made this big purchase, one that we will be paying off for.... let's just say a while!

it has been three years since we bought our home and it has been awesome. I still look at the counters in the kitchen and the paint I painted on MY walls and I am ovewhelmed at how awesome it is to be a homeowner.
this is the first place I have been able to decorate - paint etc- to MY tastes. I dont have to worry about damage deposits when the kids spill a drink or ding a wall - I just rent a car[pet cleaner and there is a big bucket of crack filler in the furnace room.
Plus there is that joy of knowing that all the money you put into your mortgage is going towards something, not like renting!
I sure hope that housing costs have dropped where you are too! They have dropped approximately 18% herein saskatchewan!
