5 Months and Counting.... You thought i was gone....

Fairy Punishment

I just wanted to put this picture up, i think it's the cutest thing ever.
It's a time out.

Christmas.

Last weekend we put up the tree. We actually got a great deal on a new one, which was desperately needed. Not sure if you can really capture the beauty of it, but try!

With the tree has come out door Christmas light, I was very excited to put them up on my very own house. As well as the baking! I was lucky enough to get a Kitchen Aid mixer last year for Christmas and i have used that baby A LOT! So far this year we have accomplished ginger bread men and pumpkin spice cookies. Ava was a big help with both. Miles, not so much!

We were also lucky enough to get some snow! It lasted a day, but during that day we made the most of it! A couple hours after making the snow man we looked outside and it was on the ground. At first i thought it was just due to temperature, but my C.S.I. training kicked in and i noticed it had actually been kicked over....... :( I told Ava it had melted and it did not seem to bother her that much.... then a couple hours after that we looked out again and someone had come back and rebuilt it. Not sure who's conscience got the better of them, but they forgot a little transformer toy on my step. A clue......

Making it Mine

Now that we have been in our house a solid 2 months I have started doing little touch ups to make it more ours. This is what our mantel looked like when we moved in. Pretty bland and did not stand out at all.



I was on the Benjamine Moore web site and cam across a Metallic Bronze paint, i knew that was exactly what i needed.
A couple hours later i had my new mantel, and love it..... my first project in my new home! And it turned out perfect.

Wow... long time

I realize that i have now lost whatever 2 or 3 readers that i once had.... but if by mistake you stumble back onto my blog, i thought i owed you an explanation.
1. We moved, it was stressful.
2. Our computer is now located downstairs.... and i once saw a spider.
3. I am busy

Cuz they're cute.......

I got a new, smaller camera that i take everywhere i go. Now i have a multitude of pictures of the everyday, which usually means the park. So let me share them with you.

Into the Land of Adults

So last week we did a really scary thing, we officially became "adults". Yes i realize i am married and have kids, thus making me some what of an adult....... but this was HUGE!!!
We made this big purchase, one that we will be paying off for.... let's just say a while!




This is our new home. Wow, that feels so wonderful to say.
